These terms apply when you request a quotation or authorise B&R Autos to inspect, repair or provide services for your vehicle.
Quotations and estimates
Quotations based on photographs or information supplied by a customer are preliminary. The final cost may change after the vehicle has been inspected, stripped down or additional damage has been discovered. We will seek your approval before carrying out significant additional work.
Authorisation
By approving a quotation or leaving your vehicle with us for agreed work, you authorise B&R Autos to perform the specified repairs and any necessary road testing or diagnostic checks.
Parts and materials
We may use original, aftermarket, recycled or refurbished parts depending on availability, suitability and what has been agreed with you. Paint colours are professionally matched, but minor variations may occur because of a vehicle’s age, condition or previous repairs.
Deposits and payment
A deposit may be required before parts are ordered or work begins. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due in full when the work is completed and before the vehicle is collected or released.
Repair times
Any completion date is an estimate. Delays may occur because of parts availability, insurer approval, additional damage or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will keep you informed of material delays.
Insurance repairs
Where an insurer is involved, you remain responsible for any excess, non-approved work or amount not covered by the insurer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Collection and storage
Customers should collect vehicles promptly after being notified that work is complete. Reasonable storage charges may apply when a vehicle is not collected within an agreed period.
Personal belongings
Please remove valuable or personal belongings before leaving your vehicle with us. B&R Autos cannot accept responsibility for items left inside a vehicle unless loss or damage results from our negligence.
Cancellations
If you cancel after work has begun or parts have been ordered, you may be responsible for work already completed, parts ordered and reasonable costs incurred. This does not affect any statutory cancellation rights that may apply.
Warranty and concerns
If you believe there is a problem with work completed by us, please contact us promptly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, correct it. Warranty coverage does not apply to unrelated faults, normal wear, misuse or work subsequently altered by another party.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights under consumer law.
Website enquiries
Submitting a website form does not create a binding repair contract. A booking or repair agreement is only confirmed when the work, price and relevant arrangements have been agreed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
